Ten Year Gone
Not that's important, but Thayill was lying when he said he hated Zeppelin. He's since admitted that he grew up loving them.
Well I live in CT and we get basically the same winters….plus it's CT and there's nothing to do. Boston has it beat in every way. As for rain I lived in Seattle for a few years and nothing in NE can compare to that for rain. Now that's a gloomy place.
I don't see Boston as a gloomy city at all. I loved living there.
"Who’s to say that young girls who like pop music—short for popular, right?—have worse musical taste than a 30-year-old hipster guy"
It's like Wings without all the great songs and singing.
Thanks, Captain Literal. I get that.

I never heard of them until yesterday but the song that was posted with the review was catchy as shit*. So I can kind of see what the hype was about.
"It came out last week that the Pentagram guy severely beat his octogenarian(!) mother. "
Scary how one unsubstantiated allegation and your life/career is over. I never even heard of these people but it seems kind of fucked up.
Never heard of any of these people.
The only important question is…is he good? For me, the answer is no. Not good at all.
I actually love Wings. So much that I felt bad saying that. But it was the only thing I could think of at the moment.
Borat is the funniest goddamn movie ever, or one of them anyway, but I think it's always a mistake to assume a person that can do one genius thing can necessarily do two. I call this the Wings theory.
Things are much more conformist and uptight now than in the 70s? By far.
Maybe but Bono sings his ass off on that one.
When I first heard MMMBop I thought it sounded like a throwback to early 70s Jackson 5, so I guess it sounds very of its time now…but back then it didn't. At least to me.
