He does it a lot, mostly when the scene calls for a forceful vocalization, so I'm guessing its Damian trying to suppress his native accent, then imitate a generic american accent, then on TOP of that try to imitate a New Yorker. The result is a bit of humorous lip flapping, lol. Sometimes he looks like a cartoon…

Yeah, I thought this was well short of an A, but most season premieres of serial dramas end up being mostly setups for the rest of the episodes, so I dont really judge them that harshly unless they're unspeakably awful.

Last week's ep—-watch when Axe says "well, its a good thing I'm a rich man" — its like lip gymnastics. Its mesmerizing, lol.

First season was pretty good, except for that silly shout-down between the stars in the finale, and Damien Lewis' non-stop attempts to keep his kinda NY accent with mesmerizing mouth contortions is a must-see.

Came here for the Dexter reference, was not disappointed.

I kinda thought he was saying to himself something like: "well, the KGB trained me for all sorts of physical and mental torture, but if Stan keeps going with this sad creeper story —- I might just break."

Ehhh, maybe, but he's got one heck of huge blind spot. First Nina played him, and he's had 2 top Russian agents parked across the street from him for like 5 years. Well, 3, if you count the super-undercover Henry.

I dunno. We havent seen Stan take the kind of "revelatory dump" onscreen yet.

He's got a lot of confidence since that chance meeting with a certain volume in Martha's dresser.

Stan is such a loser, lol. I feel sorry for Phil and Liz that they will likely get caught by him in the endgame.

Oooh, so *THATS* where Lars got his St. Anger snare sound!

Dude keeps better time than Lars.

Scruffy's go to magazine: Zero-G Juggs.

Yes, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Well, since last week's show wasnt very good, IMHO, thats not saying much.

I was thinking the same thing. Have we now gotten to under 18 minutes for 1/2 hour shows?

If they were setting this up as a spinoff, I'd watch the shit out of a Cricket show.

Theres some cool runs in Gloria, Pride, and New Year's Day. Bloody Sunday has a cool (if simple) bassline.

Hey, I like ragging on U2 as much as anybody, but Adam had some tasty fills on the older albums.

..and yet, somehow, it continues to do well enough in the ratings to get renewed every year. Heck, at this point, I'd settle for a change of scenery, and a 5th Chicago series. Chicago SVU.
