It seems like a smart move to make it a newpaper. It’ll give them the opportunity to interact with people in the community, outside of the office. I think this was one of the reasons Parks and Rec was so good, because it didn’t spend so much time in the office.

As a former summer intern at the Metropolitan Water District of Greater Chicago, I will say that they have a massive tunnel system and storerooms full of handwritten operations logs, and I always hoped  one of the log books would contain a reference to the Thing in Tunnel 4.

Little Versa energy might even be worse.

It’s a horrible car but it’s also cheap. People don’t buy it because they think it’s on the same level as a Toyota.

I watched all of that and did not really like it very much. The cast wasn’t bad, but every episode had the classic “problem snowballs bigger and bigger” but it rarely ended with any huge impact as a result.

TV snobs find these things dull and repetitive, but I think it is a huge achievement to run for 14 seasons when you only have 6 plots, all of which have been used dozens of times before on other shows.

Thinking about the “will-they-won’t-they” trope always reminds me of something I once saw in relation to one of my older relatives. This may sound mean, but that’s not my intention; it’s more of a fond, fuzzy memory now.
