“I got your point and it is a dumb ass point. Who the fuck cares about “the other side” this is not some fucking game.”
“I got your point and it is a dumb ass point. Who the fuck cares about “the other side” this is not some fucking game.”
“The answer is, it isn’t of his doing.”
There’s “downplayed” and there’s “not even mentioning half the things Trump did”. All I meant.
You know, I used to think that COVID finished off Trump, but I’m actually not even sure that it had a huge effect on him.
Whether or not a singular POTUS can get credit or blame for economic performance is largely irrelevant to this conversation.
What really worries me is at least 30% of the polled electorate are indoctrinated into a cult or just want revenge.
“Fuck Sweden.” -- Mikael Akerfeldt
Here’s something to consider about your Canadian trek—-we’ve already seen that Trumpism seeps over the border. Remember the Trucker Traffic Disaster?
“Biden’s approval rating is entirely of his own making.”
You’re missing the point. When the other side refuses to go after Trump for his very obvious and much more serious flaws, you either sit down and accept that your candidate is probably going to lose or you do something about it.
“I know? We didn’t have an old incumbent in office in 2016, but we still ended up with a compromise candidate.”
The problem with declaring you are a one term POTUS is that in inherently compromises your negotiating power on the world stage—-instead of having to wait you out 8 years, they’d only have to wait you out 4 years (or less), so I understand why he did it. And no party likes to give up the usual incumbent bump unless…
“I don’t know that he “barely” criticized trump, but again I only watched a little bit of it (TDS has never been my thing). I also hesitate to go with the narrative that we have to start being more like the right wing media. The way they “push the narrative” is through blatant lies and fear-mongering. Is that really…
“Everybody sees it. lol We all know what’s going on. You’re not the only one with a brain.”
Two flaws with that:
So you want to blame Joe for not stepping down. Fine.
First of all, I never once said anything about people not discussing this in forums—-not sure where you got THAT from. This is about an influential host on an influential show critiquing Biden for something we are already aware of (he’s old) and reinforcing the narrative into everybody’s head.
“Could’ve addressed this sooner, but we all stopped holding the government accountable on election day.”
“Once again: it is not the media’s job, nor has it ever been the media’s job, to overlook the flaws in your favorite candidate just because you view it as necessary for the greater good.”
