Agreed. Hetfield even in his prime never had Seger’s pipes. Then again, not many people have. Plus, the whole song is the typical Metallica “bludgeon your way through a song that is supposed to have dynamics” cover method.

I mean, the whole appeal of that song is the ethereal sound of the instrumentation and the soaring harmonized vocals. I don’t even really pay attention to the lyrics.

She also dislikes Halford’s astonishing performance on “Painkiller”, so while I enjoy most of her videos, there are some things she doesn’t like that are mystifying to me.
