The oversaturation of now-primitive CGI is the worst thing about CS. Even the obvious green screens of ToD and LC are charming in their own hokey way, but the CGI heavy scenes in CS just look like somebody filmed rides at Universal Studios Florida.

As somebody else pointed out above, even if he does actually step down as CEO, he’s still going to be basically running everything (software+servers, by his own admission) anyways. Just a new face to dump all the blame on.

I think you answered your own question—-it probably costs them a good deal of money per “needle drop” or maybe even a fee for keeping it available on their service.
