Actually, not that much. Small FWD cars with winter tire go a long way. They are mandatory in Switzerland, recommended in France. Either way, there are a lot of 4x4 and SUV but mostly because of people having a lot of $$$ (remember, not the same prices as in the US) than really having the need.

Or you know, you don’t need it? We care about it, the usual buyer of an A4 doesn’t. This is not a sport car, and the S4 is Quattro. Plus here (Geneva and region) you prefer having a FWD in the snow than a RWD.
