Setting aside your reading of the tweet (which some are arguing is too literal) and even setting aside the substance of the complaint at issue here, it’s worth saying that everyone has an interest in people not producing incredibly stupid crap that’s destined for a landfill. For people who recognize that issue to not

But, if the store smelled like something was rotting, why wouldn’t they do a deep clean?

Which ones are the centrists/who are you saying fuck to?

I’m sure you’re not the only one, though I haven’t felt that way. What I have felt is tortured by the fact that our very legitimate panic and hysteria is just ammunition for some people.

Doesn’t really matter how many there were, it matters what they were used for.

Can you think of a video game in which “conservative” views are championed?

Witcher 3 had the latter, but it’s the first RPG where I really found myself asking what this character would be doing in the situation rather than asking myself what’s the “right” answer in terms of getting the best experience.

I wrote a long paper in college about video games being, potentially at least, a uniquely powerful tool for developing and challenging ideology. Specifically about the Witcher 3, because it excels at revealing the players perspective and assumptions, and because I was playing it at the time and was too lazy to like,

Worse would be Stephen Colbert, who appears to be an actual saint. Or Hugh Jackman.

At least it wasn’t Batman’s shadowy dick!

Showing nudity in a scene in which a person is nude is not odd. That would be the normal thing to do.

Of course not—even playing a game requires learning things.

Dear Fucking Dipshit,

No, not even. His argument—the argument against reparations—is, “we stopped being as bad as we used to be, so now we don’t have to repair the damage we did.” I set your kitchen on fire, but I don’t have to pay for the damage because I put it out.

“Racially and gender inflammatory?” Is there some organ, separate from the brain, that is responsible for these quasi-thoughts? This is like “playing the race card”—you feel some kind of way, and now you’ve got some words (e.g., “race card” “racially inflammatory”) that let you bridge the gap between dumbass feeling

I preferred Fallout 3, even though New Vegas made a lot of improvements—gun mods, factions, all around more variety, all that was great.

You’re kidding, right? I thought the person who wrote this would care if they made an error. I saw that this article called it a documentary; I haven’t seen it, but I was under the impression that When They See Us was not a documentary. So if that was the case, I thought, the error should be noted for correction. That

And that means that this article should incorrectly state that When They See Us is a documentary why, exactly? I haven’t seen it, but I thought it was a scripted show and I figured the person who wrote this article would want to know if they made an error.

I was just throwing it out there, since this article called it a documentary.

yeah i like this. I felt like an analog watch did me more good working in a kitchen than a digital one would’ve; I could frequently take too long to determine exactly what time it was, but it gave me a constant, relative sense of how much time was passing.
