Not just bitching here

If you haven’t seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens yet, why bother? Just troll the entire world by saying you were too busy or that Star Wars is just okay or that you’re totally fine with missing out on whatever silly pop culture thing takes over the world for a few minutes every year.

You’re in for it now. Legions of Tesla fans will jump on you for saying that THE GREAT MAN didn’t invent something.

Are you really comparing Apple Marketing to Nazi Propaganda? Really?

Reminds me of the oil fires in Kuwait during the first Iraq War when Saddam set them ablaze.

When people say they lost my e-mail, I just assume they mean ‘lost’ it in the sense of there being so much clutter in their inbox that they forgot about it. I’ve certainly done that.

I grew up near a naval base in Southern Indiana (yeah, weird to have a landlocked naval base, I know)... I don’t remember any sonic booms, but I remember seeing a lot of weird planes.

I did! Thanks!

Ummmmm,

They didn’t have them permanently parked in the 70s and 80s, now did they?

Or, you know, I want to stay on-topic.

Pretty much every article I can find in my googling disagrees with you, except that they don’t capitalize ‘the.’

Ok, fair enough, I probably would have expected something along the lines of the Millennium Falcon jumping into hyperspace myself.

“When I was a kid in the 70s and early 80s”

I’m guessing it was louder if you were on the outside.

Considering he said “70s and early 80s” which was exactly when it flew...

Meteor was my first thought too. I’m not sure why that isn’t being suggested.

If you were in New York, I wonder if it was the Concorde...

For $2000, it better not be my mind that it’s blowing.
