With all due respect, the demands on bridesmaids completely outweigh the demands on groomsmen.

No one's ever asked that of me or anyone I know personally, but it was in the article, and I've heard of it in various other places. It seems like a rather extreme example, the kind of thing that moves one from normally-entitled bride to bridezilla. I would be OK with it, personally, as long as the total cost were…
A bride should not ask ANYONE to be a bridesmaid if she can't afford to pony up for their dresses, make-up and hair. Americans are so weird about this. It is incredibly declasse to expect your friends to fork out a fortune to fulfill a bride's specific vision.
It seems to me that the only acceptable reason, to you, is "if you cannot afford it."
Thank you. I love how brides think that just because someone 'can' afford something, whether that means money or time invested, that the person should just suck it up and do it simply because life is full of things we don't want to do.
so when my good friend, who lived in my town, planned a destination wedding (island locale - even though her family and her fiance's family were all local folks) with a price tag of no less than $1,500 (airfare, hotel, wedding outfit and meals - and that's before a gift) and I told her I could not attend because I'd…
I don't know, but I want to throttle them. I often wondered WHY she had to do so much shit. It was all really just because it was what was expected of her. And so, because I love her like a sister, I complied and accepted the torture. But it was awful and I would never agree to be in anyone else's wedding. And I also…
It really accumulated very quickly. Dress, shoes, hair & makeup, bridal shower (by far the largest expense even though I had it at my house), bachelorette party, gifts. Plus I also had to buy my kid a tux and shoes (he was able to wear Chucks so he used those after the wedding). It was crazy. I am also a working…
I want to agree with you, but the wedding I'm paying more than I can afford to stand up in next month won't let me.
"Naked" photos of Demi Lovato (some of which feature her ex-boyfriend Wilder Valderrama) have leaked onto the…
All MAC school bros probably wear a big 10 shirt at some point, depending on which Big 10 school they grew up closest to. Miami of Ohio- Ohio State. Eastern, Western, or Central Michigan- U of M or MSU. Northern Illinois- Most likely U of I. Ball State- IU and so on and so forth. I went to a MAC school and currently…
I find the video really fun until the part featuring French Montana — which was exactly like every other objectifying video- The part where the back up dancer crawls on the ground infront of him? Gross. It was even more jaring because of how the rest of the video is so tongue in-cheek about objectifying men's bodies.
Cause men losing their hair will be great advertising for a hair product. Usually Old Spice is better and funnier than this.
I saw them on the news commenting on the pre-sale success of their "film." The dude was all "it's the perfect intersection of free enterprise and Christianity." *Vom*
I don't think the guy from The Bible/Son of God actually played Jesus twice. The company that made these movies took footage from The Bible and re-cut it to make it The Son of God. My understanding is that it wasn't even unused footage. It's bizarre.
I wouldn't say I've been part of the accident crowd so much as the extreme mortification crowd on this. The first incident was when I lived overseas at 16 and wanted to wax my bikini line because duh, anyone can do it - and themselves! So off I marched after school to the local pharmacy which sold beauty products…
I'm worried about her wearing those heels so close to the edge of the platform. She might tip over!
This is the most gorgeous Tina fey has ever looked. Drop. Dead. Stunning.
Tina Fey is stunning. Absolutely gorgeous. That is all I want to say.
