Way off topic here, but I'm stunned to see you in the grey. It hasn't always been this way on Gawker proper, has it?

Agreed. I'm very surprised that so few commenters here are willing to respect this women's agency over her own life.

I'm with you. I'm stunned by all the anger & judgement directed at this women. It was her decision to break contact with her mother. Why are we not respecting her agency over her own life?

Any idea what the government does with the 2.2 million?

Any idea where the 2.2 million actually goes? Or what the government does with it?

Any idea where that 2.2 million goes? Who ends up with that money & what do they spend it on?

I know you hear this often, but I can’t help saying it, you are super funny. You write so well! Warm blood/Appaloosa crosses sound amazing. My sister has a Belgian warm blood cross now & something about their hugeness really gets me! I actually picked drugs over horses when I was 16, dropped out of pretty much

Ha! I didn't know you were a horse person as well! I grew up on a horse farm in Georgia & competed Hunter/Jumper. We always joked it was the Arabians that were nuts. And I am glad to actually meet you. I've been enjoying your posts & gifs for ages.

Way off topic- I'm a long time lurker with a tricolor corgi named Harrison. I've heard you talk about your corgi, so when my Mom texted me this article, I thought you might like it too. I promise I'm not a crazy stalker! http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/corgi…

Thanks. It seems like a silly thing to worry about, but it really was an awful feeling to not able to fulfill a promise I made. Cheers to you & your!

I dated a guy for 7 years who would often say he wanted his remains dumped in the Mariana Trench. He went so far as to have myself & others promise to it. A year after we broke up, he drowned in the local lake. His mother & sister actually stressed themselves out over honoring his nearly impossible whim. It's been 8

Word! I’m glad you came back & looked at it. Cracked has been putting out some really interesting ‘social justice’ articles lately.
