The camera work is part of it. It looks way too close to faces and, like, hollow somehow? Same with the Law and Order reboot.

I think it became more of a fantasy world after Cheryl divorced Larry. Before that it was very based in reality and everyday problems. After that it got silly. Leon also changed the tone a lot.
I thought you were talking about the board game, not the movie, and my first thought was, oh shit, how old are you, and, second of all, that wasn’t a summer camp.
Consider my enthusiasm curbed.
“In a since-deleted Curb Your Enthusiasm”
We get most of each story, and what we get is well-executed, but the film’s two-hour runtime leaves a lot of emotional and thematic threads dangling.
I mean, Alex has been gone since season 16. So I don’t really think it’s had too much of an impact on things.
Can we please get Ken Marino an Emmy. This revival has really shown what a truly committed and hysterical performer he is. Last few episodes I’ve nearly peed myself from his physical comedy alone.
Ken Marino is underrated in general, but what he’s done with this character is hall of fame stuff.
Ron and the pot is an instant top 5 Party Down moment.
I don’t watch this show but I have several favorites from the original UK show, “Dragon’s Den.” Here’s one of them.
Diamond Dallas Page always says he didn’t go on the show to necessarily have them invest in his DDP Yoga, but to use it more as an commercial. He says that when it aired he did $1M dollars in sales that day. Plus it still gives him sales boosts every time it’s re-run.
Fun fact, the Canadian version was the first one and Mr. Wonderful got his TV start there.
I went to college back in the 80's. Unless there a photo, everything I did back then I am pretty much taking to the grave.
OMG, the commercials during the last season of The Walking Dead made the show that much more drawn out. AMC is in it for the ad revenue I guess.
I liked it, but man, there seemed to be a lot of commercial breaks.
I think it’s doing pretty well. There may be some characters missing, but the writing is the same as ever. I don’t mind not having some characters, because the guest stars always bring something new to it.
Great episode, so far the entire season has been pretty badass. At this point forget Lizzy, the show doesn’t need her anymore.
Agreed. The best recent comedy that pulls off “believably stoned” I can think of is Pineapple Express. I will defend that movie for that reason. The lack of attention span, the under-reacting/overreacting to stressful scenarios at the perfect time, the mood swings. There are subtleties to it
