I thought they did a good job of handling the trickiest element — how do you make a show about caterers in their 50’s when realistically most of these characters would have long since moved out of the service industry? — in that Ron and Roman are the only two people who still work for Party Down in the first episode,…
In regards to Dane. Drugs would be why he didn't break out in the same way.
Mrs. Worfington is rewatching the show and is on Season 4. I’ve popped in and out and a few observations:
Obviously it’s all subjective but it just works for me on a level that no other show has. I rate Jeremy Strong’s performance as Kendall as some of, if not the best acting I’ve ever seen. I still find myself in awe at how they manage to pull the rug out from under you every season despite nothing actually being a…
Naw, you should probably elaborate

I think Peter Docter is the only one still there full time. Andrew Stanton mostly just floats around the Disney empire. Brad Bird could be available as a hired gun if they wanted him back. Joe Ranft is dead, Lee Unkrich retired. And we all know what happened to that other guy.
I saw them at WS94. 19 year old me had no interest and was just waiting for nin to come on. They quickly won me over. We couldn’t figure out how we already know so many songs from these geezers. Great show and memory.
A lot of people forget that CSN was a supergroup at the time, these guys were at the top of their game.
Back for the 50 th anniversary of Woodstock, they released the Complete soundtrack for the festival. You can get the more famous bands as separate releases. It's fascinating listening.
I wonder why it wasn’t Crosby, Nash, and Stills, so it would be alphabetical (with or without Young).
How often does a disappointing addition to a franchise actually decrease people’s enjoyment of the previous works in that franchise?
For your viewing pleasure:
You can never go home again, eh? I think the key from here on out is appreciating it for what it is. I’ll keep watching as long as they make it, and if it doesn’t have me literally on the floor like the early seasons, well, nothing else does either.
They’ve been talking about this for weeks on the podcast!
Wait, this show has been going on for the last 5 years?
It really should have stopped with the interpretative dance episode of Mac coming out to his dad.
Granted, the show stopped being funny years before that, which is why that episode would have been a damn good fitting end to the series.

Netflix DVDs I tells ya...
If it was any other director I’d be concerned, but Coppola has a tendency for chaotic shoots that lead to classic films.
