Austinite here - Julian Castro is a good egg. I wish I could say that I knew more specifically about his voting record, but his positions on immigration, immigrant rights, women’s rights, etc. are all the things I look for in a candidate. I think he’s terrific, but sadly, I don’t think he has the big charisma you need…

I was so lucky to get to see a live production of 'The Wiz' when I was a little girl, when it was on Broadway (in a revival in the early 80's). And I love the film, dated though it may be. I'll always love Diana Ross' version of this song the best:
