You should see how they’re handling ‘Prey’.
You will not be surprised.

These guys all seem to have a weird relationship with memory. They don’t seem to pick up on any of the themes or characterization in properties they claim to be fans of, they only process their memory of those things in the context of whatever culture war bullshit they’re currently on. Like they’ll say they’re not…
Bridget was never that important narratively to Guilty Gear’s (albeit nonsensical) story. So I think her having a moment of realization in her arcade mode is a perfect way to move the character forward. Honestly I think this is a fantastic transition (no pun intended) for the character as it does feel like a natural…
Maybe all supercars should be priced not in dollars, but in the equivalent number of Spec Miatas one could buy.
Tomica’s “Pocket Cars” had a level of detail that neither Hot Wheels or Matchbox could hope for. Just this Porsche 935 shows how much effort they put into their die casting, painting, transfers, etc. Plus the doors opened!
it already uses taillights from a public bus. how much can having bmw headlights hurt it. they already made the engine.
For what this car will sell for you could have a nicely built Spec Miata and have enough left over to buy the track you run it on and pay taxes on both for the rest of your life.
For that bid increment, you could get a very nicely built Spec Miata and have enough left over to run a season’s worth of events.
I freaking LOVE Tomica cars. My grandfather routinely traveled to Japan in the 70s for work and brought me some once and I was hooked. I especially loved the oddball yet very realistic stuff they had as opposed to the mostly cartoony Hot Wheels stuff. I mean, airport stair cars? YES PLEASE
This headlight thing is exactly the kind of detail that collectors wet themselves over. It’s got a bit of a backstory. The car itself was the testbed for the change. It’s rare. I bet this thing goes for quite a bit more than a ‘normal F1'
If you’re like me and wondering about the non-standard body work and wing, they were fitted by McLaren post delivery.
Maybe I’ll place a $50k bid in the hopes no one else bids!!
I’m not going to sell my McLaren F1 for another one just to get stupid headlights. What a waste of money that would be.
They used to have a street car system in downtown. Had they not ripped it out on GM’s insistence, it likely would have continued to grow and become an excellent example of how a major US city can do mass transit.
Exactly. I am fascinated by European and Japanese car culture because they succeed despite the relative lack of need for a car. My theory is that not needing a car on a super-regular basis allows them to ascend to a higher level of appreciation instead of having to have something reliable and boring just to get to the…
I love driving, I hate commuting. I love the overall robustness that modern technology has brought to letting cars function, I hate the creeping tech that dates anything and is swiftly lost to time when it inevitably fails. I can’t say there’s been a car debuted in the last 5 years I’ve had honest interest in and any…
That’s exactly why I will never live in the suburbs. I am a car enthusiast but I also like to walk and cycle everywhere if I don’t feel taking my car. Easier to do in Europe, miserable in North America if you don’t live downtown.
They’re also smaller than many states.
I’ve been a gearhead all my life, from playing with Hot Wheels as a kid to being a car spotter looking for rare, unusual, or unique cars.
