Because that’s not legal in some markets.

Tiny giraffe!

The end plates were what got me. You could probably write a few thousand pages about the technical stuff Koenigsegg just glosses over at every new model launch. Like that 9-speed DCT that weighs less than 200 lbs wet, but can handle 1600 (!) hp.

I feel like there are multiple parallel lines of development at Koenigsegg, just like the One:1 and the Regera were released fairly close together. Wouldn’t be surprised if there was more electrical magic coming down the road.

Something like that. The blue one sold for $40M back in 2010. I had the privilege of photographing it last September at the Lime Rock Historic Festival:

To my knowledge, nobody knows. I think it was last seen in 1938.

Now playing

Having met him in person, he is deep in the technical department and has the product to back up his marketing. Any longform indepth video really shows it.

Not sure what you are talking about. This is a clear evolution of the monocoque that Koeniggsegg has been using for a long time. This is clearly a development from the 1:1/Agera RS and Regera. Agera’s aero surface devices, with Regera’s streamlined bodywork.

Koenigsegg Modded Ford Mod motors are wonderful things.

Almost 1,300 hp out of a 5.0L engine on pump gas. What a time to be alive.

So surely Ralph Lauren is the buyer considering he owns the only known matching black supercharged Type 57 SC Atlantic Coupe?

There’s only one of them.  It doesn’t come in any other anything.

Weird. I came here to say the exact opposite. I thought the continuation of the wheel design onto the tires looked really cool.

They probably took some skin cells from some famous person, extracted the DNA and inserted that into some host cells, dumped them into a petri dish and “grew them” into replica skin of someone famous. Oh God that nightmare scenario is probably actually going to be a thing one day isn’t it?

The stickers on the tires are so Stance Nation.

The 80's Lagonda gets a pass because, well, 80's.

That’s an unflattering view of the 70's DBS. Try this. Handsome car.

Depends on the manufacturer. Ferrari limits their sales a bit, but they sell around 9,000 cars a year.

HOLY SHIT
