I did watch Fight Club, so I know the scene was with lye, not lime. Lye is sodium hydroxide. Lime is well... there is aglime,slacked lime, quicklime.. it could be different things, but lets just call it calcium carbonate before it got wet and calcium hydroxide after it got wet.

It doesn’t. It might help replace some of the most damaged parts, but honestly the way Feld operates I’m shocked they even gave anything.

Yep in the real world you could claim worker’s compensation for that. At least in Canada. Worked on a drilling rig once removing concrete slurry from a tank. got similar rash but smaller and got pulled out immediately by my supervisor for safety issues.
