Such a weird way to phrase it. He obviously had a carry license or he would have charged with something. I doubt he was forced to the ground, but…
It’s one thing to say he made a somewhat unwise choice, it’s another thing entirely to somehow make him out to be a bad guy as a “so-called good Samaritan”.
Pulling a gun on someone you witnessed committing whats called a “forcible felony” until the police arrive is perfectly legal and in fact, a major reason we have civilian handgun carrying in this country. No need to go all “So-called good Samaritan” on him.
Please stop defending him in any way shape or form. There are no mitigating circumstances with child molestation. He was a scumbag predator whose deeds rest solely on his own shoulders. Of course he had help-but no one was forcing him to destroy these boys’ lives.
That is so infuriating. I believe the statistics regarding male child sexual abuse is much higher, if not on-par with female child sexual abuse.
