I also think it’s important that the colors be balanced. If the suit is almost all uninterrupted blue, that looks more severe and alien. The red trunks break up that severity (especially when paired with a yellow belt, as they often are), and make Superman’s visual profile that of a brighter and more friendly…

These people are nitwits. The last few weeks of strips by the prior artist have featured a Kardashians joke and a TMNT reference. But, yes, a video game joke... that’s beyond the pale. Besides, Olivia’s art style is more true to Nancy’s origins, and so is the style of humor. I like it.
Your self-awareness is both admirable and despicable. Now that I’ve established a flexible position on the matter, I will wait and see which side gains an upper hand so that I can pile on in proper fashion.
