God the Dallenbach Special is so cool. The thing’s been around forever and it’s still a force to be reckoned with. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s competed at Pike’s Peak more than any other chassis in the history of the race.
With 516 lb/ft of torque there better be an official press video of this thing ripping some fat burnouts.
I like that the prototype’s chassis number is SP1. Seems like a nice little reference to the F1. For those who don’t know, the F1 prototypes were numbered XP1 through XP5 (the F1 LM prototype was numbered XP1 LM, unrelated to the original XP1).
There’s protruding studs on that pedal. It’s not the negative space in the middle that’s holding your foot in place there.
