That’s because Microsoft paid EA a metric fuckton of money to use the cars. Even then, EA wouldn’t let them use Porsches in Forza Horizon 1 because it was in direct competition with an NFS game that came out at the same time. There was no NFS in 2014 so Turn 10 was allowed to use Porsches in Horizon 2.

There never going to be Porsche in a Gran Turismo until EA terminates their contract with Porsche, which they have no reason to ever do.
