Suzuka’s lap records seem really weird. A Koenigseg is 8 seconds faster than an F40 which is 3 seconds faster than a Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy R which is a half a second faster than a Carrera GT.

Yeah, it’s pretty well established that the GT40 had a large influence on the Miura’s design.

Evidently record attempts are few and far between at Suzuka considering the second fastest lap is by a 30 year old car.
