Depends on if were talking about a factory racecar that’s essentially a heavily modified road car or a fully tube-framed car with 911 body panels. Although at that point you’re better off dropping the mechanicals of a race car into a road car.
Theoretically you could gut a road-going 911 (with VIN) and drop the body onto the chassis of an RSR a la Roadkill’s Nascarlo. I wouldn’t be road legal, but you could get it registered.
