I get it’s a joke most the time but I wish people would stop making the whole “threw my controller at my TV” comments.  It normalizes a behavior that is, frankly, childish and very much a sign of great anger management issues.   

From the consumer side, it doesn’t matter if the bank takes longer to settle. You’ve successfully completed the transaction on your end, and either paid or received payment.

I’ve said things like this before, but Kotick seems to be emblematic of modern CEOs. The bizarre combination of incompetence and corruption while profiting massively despite dragging everyone else down makes him similar to an actual business version of Trump. Failing upwards, given a face.

It sucks because a lot of the community is frustrated at developers and stuff and like...this is 100% on leadership from top to bottom. EA leadership, DICE leadership, and all management in between.

Basically, I blame the people who pushed this out the door to hit a release schedule a lot more than I blame the people who worked through a pandemic to actually make it.
