I don't know. Personally, I would absolutely do it and still be fairly conflicted about it. That wouldn't deter me from turning them in, but would probably bring up a lot of feelings. I'm sure that friend is relieved that everyone is okay, but also probably has some complex feelings about it too.

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that some of the most terrifying moments of my life were spent working on cars with my father.
