Honestly, this is bullshit. If you're headed in a completely wrong direction regarding your goals, small changes won't help you just a tiny bit.
You don't understand what I meant. It's a waste of computational power because computers use energy which is bad for the environment. Then you should rather support FoldIt or something like that which actually makes the computer power go into something good.

Windows is nothing without their users so they can't just say that it's their fault. It could easily be solved be using UAC or something like that to warn the user when an application wants to put something in the startup folder. Ain't the problem most often that a ton of programs puts a startup entry? Having 30 apps booting up slows down the process a lot and they should also be doing something about that.
