@drandall01: True but that hard object can be as innocuous as a single grain of sand, or any suitably gritty substance. I know from experience that particles of random crap tend to collect in just about any kind of case. This may blow it a bit out of proportion, but it's still a good thing to be aware of.
Interestingly, I used to want the iPhone till the current model came out. I may want the iPhone 5, but the 4 just doesn't appeal to me.
