That would make for a really interesting Sci-Fi movie... plants turning zombie killers because of a viral “thingie” accidentally released by a secret lab which would work because plants pollinate using air/bees/birds. Think Venus Fly Trap X poisonous snakes & bugs... humans vs the environment.

I do not know where I am going with this thought or what I am saying but a long time ago (when we had newspapers and colour photos were the cutting edge/USA Today) 2 scientists somehow decided that vegetables could feel pain... as far as I know it was declared “Horse Hockey”.
