IIRC, you had to use a Starbucks card to order anything from the app. This has probably changed where you can use a regular credit or debit card for purchases. It’s weird that you can’t use the balance of the card and then another payment method in the app though.

It seems like G/O is doing more cross posts this year. Yesterday, I saw a Kotaku article on Gizmodo.

The Harley Quinn spin-off, Kite Man: Hell Yeah! should be released in the next few months.

It will be interesting to see how network shows deal with these 10-13 episode seasons due to the strike this year. Will they have the same amount of plot and just burn through it quicker or will they just take it slow and have fewer plot lines? The amount of episodes that shows produce has shrunk in 50 years. Or go to a site that is likely hosted in a foreign country that doesn’t give a shit about the law.

Now I’m curious as to why Tetris breaks at this specific time. I’ve read up on why the arcade versions of Donkey Kong and Pac-Man have kill screens and it was a relatively minor fix to prevent them.

Popeye should be in public domain fairly soon as well.

It’s going to be a pretty slow year for Disney. And after their pretty awful 2023, maybe that’s for the best. They only have one Marvel movie, one Pixar movie and the Lion King prequel slated for 2024. There are a few movies coming from their Fox studio including The First Omen, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes,

The Holdovers is on Peacock before Oppenheimer even though it came out four months after Oppenheimer.

Obviously, the big mystery is the identity of Ruby’s parents. Maybe it’s Rose Tyler!

You’re not kidding. I looked at the AMC theater by my work and there are no tickets sold for tonight’s 8:00 PM regular show and maybe 10 or so tickets sold for tonight’s IMAX and 3D shows. I wonder if it will crack $40 million for the extended weekend box office.

If the FTC didn’t block Disney’s acquisition of Fox, I don’t think they’ll block this one. Fox was sold for seven times what Paramount is worth now.

If regulators didn’t block Disney’s acquisition of Fox, I don’t think they’ll block this one. Fox sold for $70 billion where Paramount is only worth $10 billion. If this merger goes through, I’m guessing the new company would have to divest some assets like a few cable channels.

My guess is that they’ll still charge $5/box for the generic version so there’s not much savings for the consumers. I only eat popcorn at the movie theater since I can eat candy anytime, but I really can only get movie theater style popcorn at a movie theater.

Another addition is Home Economics on ABC.

As long as they weren’t using human leather to bind the Book of the Dead, we should be alright.

It was saved once so it being saved a second time seems very unlikely. Futurama is the only show I can think of that’s been saved twice; first by Comedy Central and then by Hulu though saving an animated show is a lot easier than live action.

She learned this from watching Breaking Bad!

Most countries that use the metric system denote fuel economy using L/100km so more fuel efficient cars have a smaller value where in America, the inverse is true.

You could add Superman & Lois to this list since the next season will be its last.
