You’re right. It comes out tomorrow.

This was probably the last weekend that Elemental and Indiana Jones are going to be in the theaters. I figure they will be available to rent and buy digitally in the next two to three weeks.

Yeah, it’s going to be a while before another movie has a $50m opening weekend. Next weekend Blue Beetle opens, but I have a feeling that it will be lucky to bring in $30m based on presales.  Since the studios moved so many release dates, it gets really thin after that.

$70k is a small price to pay to roll coal on some bicyclists!

Yeah, I would assume that you work for about three to four hours in the morning and the same in the afternoon. You would have like four hours in the middle of the day free, but that’s not enough time for another job. 

Can we get a movie or tv show where they play brothers?

Slight correction, there’s only one episode of Riverdale next week. The series finale is 8/23.

Yeah, “alternative medicine” indirectly led to Steve Jobs’ death. Had he gotten chemotherapy earlier instead of messing around with alternative medicine for nine months for pancreatic cancer, there was a good chance he could have survived.

Now that it’s going away, I bet that we don’t see the Halcyon pop up in Star Wars canon going forward. For the past few years, Disney shoehorned that ship into novels and comics. They even made it where Han and Leia had their honeymoon. 

I’ve driven that road around the northwest side of Maui and it is very treacherous with a lot of single lane roads and blind S curves. It’s more treacherous than the road to Hana. 

Good luck finding a Prius Prime on a dealer lot. Even if you do find one, the dealer is probably marking it up by $5-10K.

The ones that have been filmed or were filming before the strikes are fine. It’s the ones that have been announced but haven’t begun filming yet that should be worried.

Some of these shows will have been off the air for almost a year and a half between when the show ended and when the ceremony is. The first season of The Bear was nominated for these awards and that came out in June 2022 so it would have been 19 months between when it aired and the awards ceremony.
