That right there is a case of Sentra-butt.

James Bond - I believe Diamonds are Forever - car goes into alley on its right wheels and comes out balancing on the left wheels (or vice versa) - sorry, can’t post video from work.
Exactly - the TV show was not that good, so why ‘remake’ it? And these movies are never so bad they come around again - they’re just bad. I won’t even watch them on an airplane.
Is the W8 essentially half this engine, but detuned?
The In-Laws (1979) belongs in the top 7 ... “flames, flames on my car!”
I had a hope that Clarkson had given a groveling apology and offered the producer a plum position on the new show (if he’d have taken it) ... oh well.
Sure - it costs a lot to sue them individually.
He was a so-called RINO who only went against W when it was clear W would get what he wanted anyway. A real asshole - asking the D party for their nomination when all he wants is more power. Fuck. You.
I worked a Datsun dealership as a costumed Banana Split during the 70s. They had this car and the 2+2 on the floor. We knew they were special.
I get rides home in yellow taxis and Lincolns all the time. This car does not upset me. Yellow cab driver centerpunched a stone wall on W 96th once, going through the park, so FWD is OK by me. That Panther broke away and spun like a motherfucker.
I have said a version of this at Oppo - if enthusiasts demand performance models and don’t buy them, our credibility goes right out the window. So go buy an SS or an SRT.
Difficult to believe that Tim Burton wasn’t involved. He’s the best at ruining fond childhood memories. And Planet of the Apes.
If the 620 Scaglietti had gone up in flames, I’d be upset.
These wheels really take me back:
I hate to say this, but I agree with you.
I think it was just what they had on offer ... nothing to compete with Camry/Fusion/Altima/similar. Generally odd cars, and not a lot of interesting models. That’s where I come down on it.
I would love to try one on for size, although it’s certainly not DD material. And it’s sad to see a car that capable go away.
My history: Volvo, Mercedes, Buick, VW, Toyota, Oldsmobile, Mercedes, Toyota, Honda, Ford (SHO). I’d say “no.”
Karma Squared.
1988 Camry wagon 5M - brand new. Dealership tried to pull something similar, so I said what I’d been saying: $14,800 plus tax and tags. They wanted to add a bunch of crap - I said no. Then they tried the manager close. I left. As I was backing out, the manager came running out. They closed the deal.
