Yeah, kind of strange premise all around. Though, on the point of the encryption element you could use FTP through an SSH or VPN tunnel, I guess.

Technical aspects kind of killed it for me at the end of the episode. Having anything but read permissions on FTP? Not having backups? Bit too much of a stretch, really.

I'm wondering how they're going to recover after the EndFrame guys stole their tech. Perhaps 'stopping' them in some way? Hacking into their systems to sabotage it in the way that Russ mentioned. Or perhaps they'll even end up licensing the tech to Hooli.
