I took my driver’s test in one of these. I so got nervous waiting for the traffic to clear for a left turn, wondering if I’d waited too long and lost marks or demonstrated wisdom beyond my 16 year and one day age, that the side window I was staring unblinkly through fogged up. The window crank I grabbed to unburden

As in "what if we designed a car to generate lift at the front axle on purpose"?

This is rights. Proper budgets and no better wakes up calls in this universes. See the essess of which I have excesses at turn 8.

Yeah, I was Shanghai recently and everywhere I looked, Buicks. At one point I panicked, dug out my passport to verify I wasn't in a dystopian parallel universe where my name had changed. Can confirm the dystopia though, that place is like a decade from Blade Runner.

Sorry, but yes they are, “no series injuries”, thank you.

Yep, just don't expect a receipt.

The miracle of popups down, looks like it's about to sneeze.

In the malaise era these were known as “pretty good handling”. Easily out-cornered by anything beige today.

I drove 2 RX7's into the thereafter, dreamed endlessly of adding another rotor. Such a light (sewing machine) fast revving lump with a lightened flywheel, I lived the fantasy part of the 787 dream for sure.

At LeMans no less AND with (one of) the winning driver, great post!

Smoke is coughtastic but it's an interesting angle I haven't seen before.

Kinja’d!

When have you seen more drama in a bunch of parked cars? Assuming upskirts don't count, of course.

Pretty sure that’s exactly the design goal. Succeeded.

Agreed, nothing reveals the character of an exhaust better than heel-toe down shifting at speed.

That's political discourse in America today. I strongly suspect the victims of either historical figure would fail to make the connection.

I take it you're not a pimple faced teenager. And you don't own a stunning exhaust note.

I wince every time I hear those syncro’s spinning up and shrugging off ratios, would really love to hear this thing rev matched. Sadly, this is quickly becoming a lost art in the dual clutch era (even some bikes), but at least the wincing will stop.
