Capitalism is a better model than monarchy, mercantilism and feudalism. Needing a proven model is an unrealistic requirement, after all capitalism and democracy weren’t proven when they were first adopted.

I’m a little baffled WB apparently still had so much resting on this game being successful despite the very earned hate it received every step of the way, especially when it was revealed as a live service.
Edge canary does a decent job and also blocks everything that pops up, especially those unkillable corner popup ads.
It would be nice if it were at least acknowledged. The writers do comment here sometimes, so they know the issues, which are longstanding. If any game had issues with its online infrastructure for years, and the problems kept getting worse (where’s your avatar by the way?), Kotaku would report on it.
