And again in case English is your second language - I'd rather hold those RESPONSIBLE responsible for the damage rather than force an insurer to pay. Call it ethics if you must or perhaps a sense of right and wrong if that's simpler for you to comprehend, surely you've heard of this?

I share your lack of faith. However I need not know the person or their circumstances to understand that what they did was wrong and that they should've considered the consequences before driving away from the scene of a crime. If they really did do a great deal of damage to this home they could as easily have killed

I believe the individual who has setup the felony conviction would be the person driving the vehicle away from the scene of the crime, not anyone who helps in figuring out what sort of vehicle it was. None of these articles have crossed an ethical line for me, I'd be happy to help if I could.

Make a few claims on that Home Insurance and see how it goes. I think I'd rather hold the person responsible responsible and make claims on my insurance only when it's something that no one has any control over. If everyone shared your attitude everyone's insurance would be higher - no thanks.

This wouldn't happen to be the same V8 from Audi that we were hearing about the other day that self destructs on a whim and requires extensive work to replace the timing chain is it?

I too fit but after being told by the owner to absolutely NOT use the windshield frame getting in and out because it could break I have to admit it got harder!

Now playing

Different is fine and all but it's also more expensive and it means that parts are a PITA. When that Uber JDM (yo!) piece needs replacing you'd better have a buddy in Japan combing the shelves or have a parts bin. The LS motors can be found everywhere, every time one of those lumbering Suburbans or pickups or Camaro

Tired? You've apparently not driven something with an LS in it. This wouldn't be your ugly carb'ed crappy old SBC. Modern LS motors drop right in and more than a few of them are getting turbos to boot if you check out norotors.com I've done the rotary myself and it was a ticking time bomb, I'd take the V8 in a

I believe you may find that number is closer to 80 than 100....

You're not doing so bad actually. The last 15 years is when I've saved the majority of my money and you seem to have the right attitude. Keep saving, you'll do fine!

If you think most are saving 15% I've got bad news for you :-(

Then hopefully you aren't maxxing out the new salary and are saving a huge chunk of it having not been used to having it?

I for one was in many individual stocks in 2008, a mistake. Many of them were tech related. When the company goes bankrupt you lose those funds - funny how that works huh? Likewise companies like AMD haven't exactly bounced back either. Some of the companies I was in I got out of and into funds that spread the risk -

This year? This year hasn't been that good honestly. Last year on the other hand saw some seriously good returns. I don't know how old you are but keep making those investments and wait. As you get more money the returns come more easily. The "hockey stick' curve comes into effect. At a certain point you will be

I'm a little older but not old. I've saved as much as I can since I began working in earnest and while I think I'm doing okay it's certainly not where I want to be just yet. 2008 really hurt me, one 401K I had in individual stocks lost close to 80%! My home will be paid off in 5years, I've been busting my hump to do

Yeah, I didn't mention that when it happens it happens on your tires! It's really bad news and I've been lucky enough to not experience the issue. I'm starting to do more work on mine and drive it more though so I'm really paranoid. I have no idea who I could goto locally and trust! Dealers are a joke and for this

Heh, try owning a 100K+ stickered 911 turbo with the ever so fantastic glued in water nipples that require engine removal to fix! I have been happy to keep mine in the engine, others not so lucky. Removing the engine to weld these is a real picnic. Porsche appears to give zero Fs about it...

Now recoat them so the UV doesn't destroy them all over again. 50:50 Velspar urethane and mineral spirits applied with a lint-free painter's paper towel aka the blue ones. Done and done cheap cheap!
