I agree with you actually. That said it is not an obvious thing. There are no true guidelines, but only impressions that one is appreciation and another is appropriation: what you think is authentic might seem disingenuous by someone else. It is not black and white.

The more important question is: how do we take advantage of this? There will be chaos certainly and the chairs on the deck will change. We should learn to take advantage of these things and not only keep protesting. Everyone has taken advantage of black progress except blacks:

That’s not true. They just require host nations to have 8-10 modern stadiums above 40K attendance, including 1 above 70K for finals. Most countries do not have that. The US has probably 100 modern stadiums meeting these requirements

Why not 12 groups of 4 instead, then move to a round of 32. It would make all group games relevant and would add only one more game to the semi-finalists. I just think it is more pleasurable for fans expecting to travel to see their teams for 3 games (2 seems just not enough).

The crime numbers are from 2015...in 2016 with 762 murders Chicago has 28 murders per 100K. A few cities with more than 500,000 people have more (Baltimore, NoLA, Detroit, and St-Louis). I think people should stop regurgitating this story about crimes being relatively low. It is not especially with 2.8M people living…
