You don’t understand how valuable the talent of the career officers of the foreign service are/were.

Not our bad if you haven’t been following the news for the last 18 months

I don’t know about you, but my ideals are so gleaming bright, they are practicality blinding. (And pretty much the only practical thing about me.)

But the larger point: Why is Clinton even taking a call from such a monstrous person?

I can spot a FOX news and Breitbart reader anywhere. Not worth my time. I look forward to when Dump causes the next recession and you’re out of work AGAIN.

HRC: “My political opponent is a con man who would be a puppet of a Russian authoritarian obsessed with shirtless selfies and unlawfully seizing neighboring land.”

You are wrong that the core of the Dem Party is what was ignored. You’re theory is faulty. HRC received the majority of voters who make less than $49K a year. Not Trump. His average voter made $90K or greater. This was not a blue-collar issue — this was a gender issue and a white supremacy issue. While you can

Don’t forget, a lot the same people marching and asking where BHO and HRC went, are the ones who were all in for an unqualified white guy who insisted that both sides were the same and was against any good the Democrats have done in thirty years too.

The same worthless turd who can’t be bothered to say bad things about

They didn’t reject Goldwater because he was a racist. They rejected Goldwater because the president of the United States had been assassinated a year before the election and because the new president was a popular character who seemed grounded in a frightening time. They elected Nixon twice, and that dude was super

I like how the OP made no substantive, objective points to detract from Obama’s presidency and points to the fact that people didn’t elect a racist 50 years ago, so that’s unassailable evidence of progress. And then the masterful, predictable final stroke - THIS IS WHY DEMS LOST!!!1!1!

I don’t think you understand: she had a private email server!

It’s very disheartening, in general, that people who do have sound moral reasons for their beliefs don’t understand the compromises that have to be made in a democratic society. They think that compromise is going “against their conscience,” but then don’t concede how that facilitates something like this.

America has progressed, leading the regressive among us to clutch desperately at their last shreds of relevancy.

It was so frustrating to see so many comments disclaimed with “I’m not a Hillary fan, but” or “She’s a flawed (read: not perfect, because perfection was required for her while minimum competency levels went out the window for the other side) candidate, but,” it was the progressive version of some cool girl nonsense.

So much yes to everything. Hillary and Obama don’t use us a goddamn thing right now. To even ask is petulant.

I still think that the Obamas’ first act after BHO left the seat should have been an Instagram photo from the shores of Kenya. Middle fingers optional.
