I have no problem with fan service. I usually use it as an indicator for how well a show is written. It’s usually inversely proportional. However, i find that i’m more likely to stick with a bad show longer(or finish it) if it contains more T/A. If a show is already good, i never find myself noticing fan service in

I read the entire article. I feel almost the entire article is a retread of previous outrages and over done points. I think you would have been better suited to take the last paragraph and essentially the last sentence and build an article around that. I think asking for more anime that does not utilize fan service is missing the mark. The better questions is why fan service is used in the first place, has fan service sexualization/objectification increased in the anime industry over the last X years. How can publishers move away from counting on niche anime otaku
