I really expected it to be pink and/or purple and shaped like a butterfly, so I was pleasantly surprised.

When Lana said she could beat Naomi, Becky and Charlotte were both doing the "light up a joint" type gesture, as in "what the hell is she smoking?" While I was shocked they let that fly in the PG era, it was pretty funny.
a.) That was definitely my favorite Fashion Files segment.. they were so spot on with every moment of that metatastic and self-aware journey.
b.) Finally… I love seeing Lana back! I have no idea how her matches will go, but it's just good to see her for now.
c.) I honestly felt this was a very stale show by Smackdown…
I think the character of Bayley itself is fine, in the way she worked in NXT. The problem is that it is has morphed into a caricature of what she was. Somewhere along the way, the lovable and fighting underdog became the lovable and fighting jobber with no backbone. Booking and specifically promo booking is a huge…
They could help alleviate the problem by having a couple serious women's feuds going at once in a 3 hour program. They typically do a decent good job with the tone of the women's title feud but they squander the mid-card feud on something silly with comedy mixed tag matches built more around dancing than intensity or…
I think the kayfabe logic is that Dean hired it as a decoy.
I don't think she'll ever get better in a promo sense, she's simply not a natural at all. But in ring? Her two championship matches with Sasha in NXT were easily two of the best women's matches that I've seen. I think Bayley can succeed right now, but they can't lean so hard on the underdog thing to the point of…
I agree.
Solid point. Generic isn't the right word to describe GBoF. I do think it is awful, though.
I always love seeing my girl win; I just hate that it was a total squash match. I'm not sure Bayley got more than maybe one punch in (and that Bayley to Bayley, which didn't even seem to do much). Neither girl looked particularly sloppy or bad, but the match really didn't do much besides bury Bayley. When there is…
Breitbart usually posts worse crap than this. Probably fired for having a uterus.
Halloween Havoc, Great American Bash (or Bash at the Beach) and Starrcade are all super usable in general, right off the top of my head… but yeah I agree, GAB would work well for this month.
The icing on the cake was when Joe yelled SO DO I and mic dropped in response to "We Want Lesnar" chants… brilliant way of simultaneously building feud intensity and giving the crowd a knowing wink of "I feel your pain and it's a shame that WWE relies so heavily on part-timing assclowns in championship roles who can't…
So you're saying they should make Gallows the logo for the PPV? Buh-dum-dum!
I also really like Swann and Sasha in general as wrestlers, but I just felt like the whole feud was very silly and definitely beneath the way Sasha has been booked over the last few years.
I can't believe they did away with the King of the Ring PPV for generic shlock like "Fastlane" and "Great Balls of Fire." Bringing back Elimination Chamber as a PPV was a step in the right direction, but they have too many usable and interesting brands to be doing stuff like this, in my opinion. Even "In Your House"…
I really feel like Alexa tried her hardest to make chicken salad out of chickenshit in that segment, but it just wasn't to be. Almost no one could have made that work, especially with the horrible actors they brought in to work with the wrestling talent… and then them taking forever to get out of the ring also made…
Yeah, I wouldn't mind that going on alongside the Alexa/Nia stuff starting up. They really should have two women's stories going on at once in a 3 hour show anyways, and does anyone really care about the whole Sasha/Swann vs Noam/Alicia stuff?
That's true, they've gone WAY too over the top with the innocence aspect of Bayley's character. She's shown an in-ring mean streak when needed at moments before in the past.
I do think TJP is kind of a whiny bitch, so I guess there's that! Sorry.. couldn't resist, hahaha. I literally got out of my chair and cheered when Neville attacked him.
