Didnt get a chance to add: 1976 Aston Martin Lagonda and a 2007 MB S550. the one with the messed up engine design.
edit. $33M, not $22M, so $27500 per car. more reasonable. Does it qualify for federal $7500 credit?
similar experience but 997S for me.
If you subscribe to the idea that 500hp is just too much for everyday use, then yes. plus better fuel economy, more comfy, less bolstered seats, more compliant suspension, etc. Personally, if I could have a GT3/Turbo and a Carrera/Carrera T, I’d be a happy camper.
wife has a 2015 C300 Sport with almost no options I think. Still a pretty awesome sport sedan. Rattles my fillings worse than my 911S though. MBTex FTW!
My sisters 3 was actually pretty fun. COG was like 10 inches from the ground. and it’s still fast, and still gets like 230miles on a charge in the standard. I’d still get the long range like my sisters though.
that 12.5k thing didn’t go through. at least not with the infra bill... maybe tacked on to something later.
I’m going to go with the Maverick with steelies.
unfortunately all the rebates required to obtain that price probably apply to zero Americans.
Stop talking about M45s so I can buy one for pocket lint in a few years.
Not to defend the quote but once you can get the rock auto parts, you need to find a good, reputable mechanic willing to install parts they didn’t procure for a critical system in a 25 year old car. Around here, there aren’t many mechanics willing to do that.
I guess. It feels like Model 3s outnumber pretty much any sedan out here in the Bay Area burbs, except maybe the 3 series. They’re fine- my sister has one. But if it’s about sexy, sorry bro, 911s have model 3's beat. even older 997s like mine.
Hyundai Veloster Turbo is pretty funky. That’s my vote. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/4eec96b3-dac0-4089-be05-cb3dfb45012d/
I feel ya. my 997 is pretty damn engaging to drive, and plenty fast for me, even if a 991 or 992 is a whole ‘nother world faster.
I highly disagree with the negativity around the 10th gen civic’s design- it was so forward thinking it caused Toyota to rethink and delay their next gen corolla because it would have been TOO BORING next to that futuristic civic design. I’m not a fan of all the fake scoops and stuff but it definitely made that car…
I didn’t, was responding to your assertion that it would be better without the touchscreen and just knobs and buttons. I counter-assert that I’d not buy it without that touchscreen and not only a touchscreen but it has to have CarPlay also. Which it does. So I might buy it for my daughter.
This is one of my lottery cars if I don’t win enough to pick up a Bentayga V8S. Actually I’d probably still get one of these beside the Bentayga- no one does big SUVs like America. No One. Just the curved screens alone are a technological tour de force that make me nerd out.
huh? the base $19,995 truck has carplay. Also, I’ll almost guarantee that this will clogging many city downtowns, driven by young and old drivers including the $1500 iphone crowd like myself. We like at least a modicum of tech.
