In the invasion mode there’s a Gateway Portal in the world select where there are hourly, daily, and weekly towers. Unlike mk11 though, they don’t show the rewards and the two that I did, didn’t give great rewards. Invasion mode is kind basically the same though but its a month and a half giant tower, haha. I mostly

This headline is pretty misleading...

500 crystals ($5) is too damn high for a skin or fatality.

I like the game so far, but I disagree about the monetization not being obnoxious. Things like fatalities and skins cost 500 crystals to buy. That’s $5 USD, the same price of a full character. I might actually buy skins that I really want rather than try unlocking them if they were priced reasonably. I could see

Sick!

That’s where I got my translated mother 3 cart. Worked great, just make sure to get one from a seller with good reviews and pictures of what you'll get

K Rool has been one of my top picks as well. Especially if he had a Captain K Rool alternate costume. That said, waluigi is also on my list...he’s a wacky guy.

This!

Im a lot more interested in Killer Queen Black! If you havent had the chance to play Killer Queen in an arcade with 9 other people, you have sadly missed out...but not for long by the looks of it! I’m curious if local multiplayer could be possible for something like that though.

I thought ARMS was a ton of fun and I would have played a lot more if I could have convinced friends to give it more of a chance. I’m not sure if it’s the goofy concept or the unconventional game mechanics, but a lot of people seemed to have passed on this one. I dont think it helped so many people thought it required

Nice...things like this really give me a lot of confidence in the future of the digital game market.

Dont forget about speed walking.

I think he should get help and the refund. Sure these f2p games are bullshit and this is a perfect example of why microtransactions are bad...but it is super shitty for them not to give more of an advanced notice. Refunding recent purchases would be the right thing to do.

Yeah, wasn’t very good though :(

I think this is one of the easier mario games, but Wario’s Castle at the end is pretty challenging. I replayed it a couple years ago and that place took me quite a few tries.

I searched your review for Brawlball but didn’t find it anywhere. If you asked me, you glossed over the best mode in the game.

I played on PC day one, out of the 11 hours I played the only significant problem I had was one time where the whole thing locked up. Admittedly I was in big picture mode which has generally, in my experience, been prone to more issues than playing without it, but I don’t know what the underlying case really was.

I imagine they drew inspiration from a lot of the noteworthy rubber hose animation from that period including stuff done by Ub Iwerks and Disney.

That was my initial reaction too, but the article mentions that these repros are using the rom ripped from the SNES mini which has been updated by Nintendo. I’m not really sure what they all did to it other than change the title screen but I’d be curious to know if there were other noteworthy changes they made.

I think you are missing the point...Fortnite is similar at best. It is by no stretch of the imagination a replication. Mortal Kombat was closer to a clone of Street Fighter than Fortnite is of PUBG. You could look back at just about any game and point to something it was a clone of by these standards. That is because
