Ask the hundreds of thousands of kids in Africa whose lives were saved by golden rice, or the countless type-1 diabetics who survive using insulin made by genetically engineered E. coli.

The same way about every other vegetable has been modified through the ages to be better?

How do you get “genetically engineered” and “health-giving” in the same sentence?

Oh my god.. I froze when I read the headline thinking this might have been another dress quagmire. *whew*

Yeah, like I don’t really know if “shoving something into a wood chipper” really counts as a Fargo reference, but I’d say most of them are legit (though a lot of them are intended to be extremely obvious references, like the Emperor Zurg “I am your father”).

A few of these are definitely grasping at straws, but there were some good ones I didn't know about too!
