The difference is, the person trying to desperately to prove video games make gamers violent was never taken seriously and was a social outcast within gaming culture. Where as the person that’s so desperately trying to prove video games make gamers sexist is being heralded as a hero and a messiah amongst her peers.

it really is sad that there was even a need for a study like this in the first place. sadly just like with studies that have shown that games don’t make people violent, the people who don’t like the results will still continue to shout their nonsense from the top of their lungs.

Way back before Spore came out, EA released a free trial of their creature creator editor to drum up some hype. The options were really limited but since I had been looking forward to Spore for a couple years, a free trial to scratch that itch would be nice, right?

Playing counterstrike on my gaming PC when all of a sudden, BSOD! Oh no, look over, see a 6 inch flame flying out the top of my tower as it tries to reboot.
