The ‘conspiracy theory’ is based solely on sour grapes from Force India and primarily from McLaren. They have no actual basis for the claims whatsoever. The car is superficially similar because Haas copied some of Ferrari’s aero concepts from last year ( as many teams have, and it’s well within the rules to do so ).

In the pre-wing era, I’d say it was true. Especially in the late ‘60s ( the golden age of F1 ), when small teams and privateers managed to get wins more often.

As opposed to internal wings?

If Sergio Marchinne pulls Ferrari out of F1, he isn’t going to undercut himself by entering Alfa Romeo as a full constructor instead.

But to be serious here fairer is an incredibly subjective term, and I hate seeing it used like it is being here.

You din’t have to build 100% of the car to be a constructor. This would invalidate 100% of the constructors on the grid, because even Ferrari and Mercedes use contractors for some parts ( like brakes and electronics ).

Maybe if they played D’Antoni’s previous up-tempo offense, but not the system he uses now. OKC couldn’t play Houston’s system if they wanted to because, aside from PG, they aren’t a good shooting team from beyond the arc. The Rockets system only works because basically everyone except Capela and Nene can regularly hit

They aren’t asking Anthony to defend the other teams best player,so he doesn’t have to match Thompson’s role entirely. They don’t need him to either, because they have George for that. Asking Carmelo to be a catch and shoot wing player ( perhaps his current role is more akin to Ryan Anderson, who also doesn’t play

His mountain of assists would dispute that somewhat, but I’ve noticed that he utilizes his teammates less and less often the more desperate a situation gets.

I slept though a gang shooting ( the only one ever in my town, that I know of ) in a front yard across the street from my apartment a few years ago. Never heard a thing.

Aside from that winning streak they had a few weeks ago, the whole team’s been in a funk more or less since Roberson’s injury. Adams has been really solid though.

Yet he’s still 10 percentage points more efficient from 3pt range than Westbrook is on the season. If you need a 2pt bucket? Russ is your man. If you need a 3pt bucket? A 29.7% 3pt shooter probably isn’t the guy to give the ball to when you have a 39.7% 3pt shooter on the floor.

‘Melo is an aging star who’s taken on a supporting role. He’s not there to carry the water and he doesn’t get the touches he’s used to, but trying to stuff a Carmelo Anthony shaped peg into a Klay Thompson shaped hole is never going to work ( I swear this is not sexual innuendo ).

I think the Thunder have a bit of a Billy Donovan problem as well.

No rule can stand up to apathy.

Captain Nippontendo?

I never said it was on VSB, I clearly said the Root.

Huh?

I wan’t to be clear that I wasn’t referring to Gizmodo specifically, but to the Gizmodo media group as a whole.

Why should being, or not being, a ‘news’ blog dictate whether ethics or integrity should be a consideration?
