Why is an American mayor negotiating the release of an Australian prisoner from whatever the hell country they ended up in anyway?

I never thought I’d say this about a Slade episode because he’s one of my favourites but holy crap, I was bored. There was some moments of brilliance - that Slade kill streak was amazing - but on the whole the episode lagged? Probably not helped by the utterly pointless flashbacks.
And its the 2nd or 3rd time he’s been cleared. At this point there is nothing hanging out there that could incriminate him. Nothing the FBI is looking into that is giving anyone any sort of pause. She just keeps detaining random people. If he was a poor immigrant sure I could buy the harassment, but a white…
I’ve floated this idea before, but I really am hoping that they start flashing back to the events of earlier seasons, but with outrageous flashback wigs. Like, flashback to Oliver beating up some punks, then he pulls back the hood, and it’s Flock of Seagulls hair. Then Digg walks into the shot with like Kid n Play…
“How exactly are your methods non-lethal exactly?”
Oh my god the FBI agent is just the worst. What in the hell is her motivation for being a piece of shit to everyone? How is she getting these subpoenas for everyone, after a fake photo was mailed into a news station. Please stop with this storyline, its awful, or give us something with some actual stakes and logic to…
If they intent on doing flashbacks, they’ll have to start making us believe Oliver was gone for 20-30 years or they have to start flashing back to season 1.
In the beginning it worked because it was limited to how he ended up disappearing and how he got of the island. But now it seems he has had several careers, a…
I found a lot of weird things in this episode.
Yes, they had their moments last night, but it just didn’t click for me. Maybe it was the serious (well, more serious than usual) nature of the ep. Agent Bitchy and crew showing up at the end and she lets loose that pithy “you idiots” line at Sarah was about it for me.
Psst, it’s Courtney Ford, not Fox, that plays Eleanor. She’s also married to Brandon Routh.
Jax and Ray keeping the plan from Martin makes even less sense when Jax just got mad at him last episode for hiding what he was doing with the jumpship.
So they got the message on how everyone hated the increasingly long mysteries about the main villain’s identity on The Flash...but somehow think it’ll work perfectly here. I look forward to the inevitable reveal that they were fighting a giant blob of the whole team after being merged in some timestream mishap.
Why does White Canary’s current costume look like a licensed Halloween costume for the previous costume? It’s terrible.
I would complain about putting spoilers right in the headline alongside a picture of the couple being referenced if I was more invested in these characters or their relationships.
“Sanvers,” as they’re lovingly called...
Did Lena also accuse Edge of tryin’ to steal her Lucky Charms, boyo?
Gee, thanks for the spoiler headline on the front page! (We in the UK are behind you and don’t get this episode until next week.......)
Never really cared about Alex’s romantic life. That stuff bored me to tears.
That was a nice short episode. (I skip all the boring CW relationship crap). A solid 20 minute supergirl story!
The moment in this episode that sticks with me most is Lena’s drunken, self-pitying rant to Kara.
