When I'm buying a car, I need to make sure it fits 1 6'5" person, not four 6'2" people....

I think it has to do with him rubbing it in....

Not bad. Definitely better to get a small trailer if you're doing this sort of thing...ever.

What's the tow rating on an Outback? Probably none.

It's really hard for me to understand how Volkswagen has decided to be the most vanilla car brand, ever. There is literally nothing exciting about anything they're putting out now, looks wise. Seriously, if you took the badge off of it, it just looks obscenely plain and generic.

They probably don't allow cut blocks in spring games...

Not to mention this, fully equipped is about $7k less than the Flex

I really like the Flex, but this seems way more practical, especially when it comes to cargo space when the seats are up. I have 5 kids, so I sometimes need to transport 7 people and things for 7 people, which 99% of 7 passenger SUV's can't do.

I'm not sure why Ford isn't pushing this. It has literally everything that you could want, and a ton of innovations (Overhead storage!), the cargo area is nuts, the back hatch is huge, etc. Plus it gets 29MPG highway.

I found a few (read: 3) in the KC metro area for sale at various dealerships. I don't think it's super popular, but it's there.

Fords website tells me it is....

As a person with 5 kids who is in the market to upgrade my 99' Odyssey, I'd be WAY more into a van that was brown and had AWD than a slammed one, personally.

If the price is competitive vs the Transit Connect XLT Wagon Titanium then I'm interested, otherwise, I'll go with the Ford.

potentially, diesels have more torque, so they could be really fun driving around town at 10/10ths.

I feel like, at 130dB, it's going to bounce off hills, etc and will be noticeable if you're anywhere near it.

The interstate where they're testing this has houses and businesses not too far off the road (50 or 100 yards, in some areas)

Ah, Kansas City. My home town / state is full of insane ideas... but at least we're not Kansas.

My dad (who has an 80+mph electric go kart) is friends with this guy and told me that this was "more expensive than a Tesla", which I don't think surprises me....
