I don't know how more people haven't had a serious existential crisis after watching this episode. It kind of made me want to die.

I don't think it's fair to recognize concrete mental illness as a sympathizing condition but not recognize any and all factors that contribute to a person being less than ideal. All characters are sympathetic. All characters are flawed through their biology and their experiences.
