Nope, sorry.
Nope, sorry.
Please go back and reread what you wrote and tell me again that’s not hateful.
And our obsession with identity politics!
Amazing a robot treated better than their women .
But actual human females have to get permission or travel with a male relative to leave the country.
And now she has more civil rights than female humans in SA! Yay!
There is a Saudi satire show where a Saudi man in the future runs to his young daughter and says “Guess who can drive?”
Something about this gif is so extremely disturbing to me, like I know it doesn’t have feelings but the way it kind of skitters away from the direction of the impact makes it look like a scared puppy or something =(
And why isn’t she in a burka?
Aaaaand she’ll probably have more rights than actual human women.
Given that she’s allowed to show her face, she already has more rights than human females in KSA. Gotta love it.
It amazes me to this day what the Saudis get away with because they’re our “allies”, including 9/11, Wahhabism (which they’ve helped spread worldwide) and modern day slavery. I mean, a lot of the workers in Saudi homes are basically slaves; their passports are taken away and they have no rights and are regulary…
That’s cute. There are nearly 9 million migrant workers in KSA who have worked in the country for decades doing the jobs that regular Saudis won’t do and endured some of the most horrible abuse you can imagine but please, grant citizenship to a f*cking robot.
So a robot has more rights than 52% of Saudi’s population. Seems par for the course... /s
Nonetheless, even if the manor has 40 rooms, this is turning out to cost 1 million dollars a room for lighting. Something isn’t adding up. It would cost the same to build the place from scratch.
Yes to always having a contract. Still, I have to say I was on the woman’s side until I read the bill has reached 25 million euros for lighting and it still isn’t all done. Wtf!? They’re dishonest not to have paid up but I think she may be as well.
To me it sounds like 1. He told her to “follow her artistic journey instead of an actual plan. 2. They didn’t have a contract and the work ended up being more expensive than he thought. 3. He wants it finished but feels like he’s paid to much already.
Hey y’all I know we’re talking about Brad Pitt and all but do you mind me changing the subject because I just got creeped the f out. So I’m apartment shopping currently (which in Austin is a nightmare) and I came across what seemed like a rather nice duplex near downtown (almost too good to be true).
So I clicked on…
I thought you were 36, married with kids and a Good Samaritan who help all people out with their automobile issues?
I think a comment to a post at The Mary Sue on how strippers and sex workers are viewed re their rights to privacy and consent is helpful in getting past bias:
