The only bad thing about Reece’s Pieces are the people who pronounce them *Reesee’s Peesees*

Reese’s Pieces were one of the least popular candies until that movie hit, then they went nuts, so to speak. Hershey should send a thank you card to Mars on the anniversary of the movie opening each year. That would be an awesome troll. Fun fact: Mars used to be a Hershey customer before they started making their own

Uh, they are goddamn delicious, which is why aliens came here to eat them.

OG cups or GTFO.

Your opinion is wrong and I’m embarrassed for you.

I don’t think it makes her look frail or weak, I know better. What I’m saying is that images like this, in this context, probably subconsciously plant the idea that sexual assault victims are weak or should be ashamed.

I’m not going to read the post before commenting, because I want to get my thoughts down fresh:

You don’t tell a lie that bad to people you respect.

As most Americans know, including, I hope, Donald Trump, Puerto Rico is part of America.

Such bullshit. And I just sat (yes sat- I just got home from fucking 14 hour workday) through probably the 400th time of listening to God Bless America during the Yankees 7th inning stretch since 9/11.

Sports Illustrated should honestly issue an immediate apology to all of the athletes on that cover, and to Kaepernick. What a clusterfuck.

I think his point is that since his NFL career was so short, either CTE can happen very quickly, or else the normal amount of pre-professional football one needs to play in order to make the NFL is enough to cause CTE. Neither conclusion is acceptable to the NFL

I totally agree with you, but you cannot disregard the years of Pop Warner, High School, College, practice, etc...

No, of course not. The NFL games are most easily found, of course, and a lot of the focus on NFL players with CTE has been on guys with longer careers (Mike Webster, Seau, etc). Hernandez only played 3 years.

and that’s 2 bum kidneys BTW. If it was one, she would not need a transplant. Curious fact: when a kidney goes bad, the other one compensates for it by growing. This also happens with donated kidneys

Now that I think about it, she also must’ve been on dialysis... wow
#DialysisSucks

I agree. I like to quote my mother who used to say “show me a child who has a mother for a best friend and I’ll show you a bad mother.”

Lupus can get way worse. I’m really just impressed that a teenager, who goes on tour and performs so often, can do it all while dealing with lupus and a bum kidney.

I just saw the kidney transplant story on BuzzFeed and my jaw dropped. Good on Selena for getting the care she needs - I didn’t even know lupus could get this bad - and that is a FRIEND, what an amazing gesture. Between her sharing her story and Lady Gaga coming out saying she has fibromyalgia it’s refreshing to see

As a medical doctor practicing for over 16 years, here’s the best piece of advice I can give regarding a situation like this.

Are you kidding me, though? Because my child is 13 and due to mental illness I’ve had to leave her alone with doctors and therapists quite a few times. Please do not assign the blame on this to anyone other than the person responsible - this fucking asshole of a man.
