Far worse then this is the electric producers (at least Ford with the Energi) that include the Tax credit in the total. You start buidling the car and it has the changing “estimated net price” that changes as you add option, but it includes 9500ish in incentives you may or may not qualify for.

Oh... i always forget about Turo, it would be a great way to try out a few different cars on longer test drives.

“Sprint Cars, unfortunately, gained some notoriety last year when 20-year-old driver Kevin Ward Jr”

Pretty much where I am at with my wife and her next car. No VW as so many expensive problems (her opinion based on experience of co-workers). XC90 1-3yo was top pick, but saw it at the bottom of Consumer reports reliability report. =\

Yeah not everyone is into 90s Voyagers as the “answer” to everything.

100% agree...but they are 100% upfront and honest about it. I wouldnt buy there because I know enough to not get ripped off at a normal dealer. To me Carmax doing so well is a sign of how much normal dealers have screwed people in the past.

Based on the ride I took in a 700 (NA) C6, being able to pass a McLaren like it was a stock Miata was pretty great....

As a Wagon fan, I want to agree with you. I waited for the Mazda 6 (then brand new in 2013) to see if they would do a diesel (as they promised) wagon (crossed fingers). Great list, totally agree. But I said that about the Buick, then it was released and it wasn’t quite as cool as the concept car, it was to expenisve,

Everyone Miata owner is going to be yelling at you shortly.

200 to drive practical? I typically am the fastest car on the road when running in electric only at 79hp...

Unless you are using it, for what this was built for, track use. Otherwise I completely agree. I track my 450hp C4 vette, but I really NEED 700hp for it... ;-)

Is the right rear window broken????

Congrats! If you haven’t yet, get on Corvette Forum, actually a LOT of good information on there to work on your car. There of course is going to be the “do it right or don’t do it at all” attitude, thinking unless you buy OEM parts at $400-$600 instead of the rockauto version for $30 your an evil monster, but most

People still get confused thinking Millennial’s are somehow young.

There to busy complaining about not being about to buy houses, to their other coffee shop co-workers.... ;-)

ha, I one time was like “oh off topic, wonder what they are talking about” Yikes, yeah backed up pretty quick.

Me reading the article:

The only reason I continued this conversation is the hope we could get to the “hey I see your point, but lets agree to disagree, you live your life, Ill live mine and we are both auto fans” point.

37k people died on US roads in 2017, there was over 13 million vehicles involved in some form of crash in 2016. How many people do you know of that have been killed in a race car last year?

I once again typed out a logical response, using facts and reason, then it hit me. You still haven’t answered my question, do you wear a seat belt?
